Musical Artist - Hall and Oates

Hall and Oates are an American rock duo formed in 1970 by Darryl Hall and John Oates. They are, by several measures, the most successful musical duo in history, with six number one hits: I Can't Go for That (No Can Do), Kiss On My List, Maneater, Private Eyes, Out of Touch, and Rich Girl, as well as numerous other top forty hits including Adult Education, Family Man, Method of Modern Love, One on One, Sara Smile, Say It Isn't So, She's Gone, and You Make My Dreams. Though they came to prominence in the mid-1970s, Hall and Oates were one of the dominant musical acts of the early- to mid-1980s, and are one of the primary faces of music from that decade.

Despite being a signature sound of the 1980s, and helping to set the style for pop culture of that era, Hall and Oates never had much critical acclaim. The duo has more or less had the final say over the critics, as they have been inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They also have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The band has an official website named Darryl Hall and John Oates. They can also be found on Facebook.
