Comments: Tony Ballantyne is a British science fiction author and teacher. He has published the Recursion trilogy, the Penrose trilogy, and the stand alone book Dream London, as well as numerous pieces of short fiction. He has served as an assistant headteacher at the Blue Coat School in Oldham, although it appears unclear whether he still holds that position or has left it to write full time.
Ballantyne maintains a website to promote his works called tonyballantyne.com.
Tony Ballantyne the British science fiction author should not be confused with Tony Ballantyne the New Zealand historian.
