Birth: I don't know when, but since I've met her, I'm pretty sure it happened at some point in the past.

Comments: Fran Wilde is an American science fiction author. She has published numerous pieces of short fiction, and as of 2016, two novels titled Updraft and Cloudbound. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Wilde has an M.A. in information architecture and interaction design and an M.F.A. in poetry. She has had stories published in Asimov's Science Fiction, Nature Magazine, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and Tor.com. In 2016, her novel Updraft was nominated for both the Nebula Award for Best Novel and the Andre Norton Award, making it the first book to receive both honors.

Wilde has a website named Fran Wilde: Science Fiction and Fantasy. She can also be found on Twitter and Facebook.
