Author - Wellnitz, Alfred

Birth: December 15, 1927.

Death: Still alive and writing.

Comments: Alfred Wellnitz is a former electrical engineer who decided to become an author at the age of seventy-three. His personal story is somewhat impressive: with only an eighth grade education he joined the Navy and served for seven years. Once he was discharged, he used the G.I. bill to become an electrical engineer. He worked as an engineer for three decades, and then retired and began working in real estate. He apparently didn't enjoy that too much, and gave up his real estate business to become a writer.

Wellnitz maintains a blog dedicated to the book PushBack, and you can also read an interview about writing his books. He also has a Facebook page and you can follow him on Twitter.
