Follow Friday - Pope Zephyrinus Became Pontiff in 199 A.D. Why Don't Popes Have Cool Names These Days?

It's Friday again, and this means it's time for Follow Friday. There has been a slight change to the format, as now there are two Follow Friday hosts blogs and two Follow Friday Features Bloggers each week. To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. Follow both of the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts (Parajunkee and Alison Can Read) and any one else you want to follow on the list.
  2. Follow the Featured Blogger of the week - Coffee and Characters and Bookworm Book Reviews.
  3. Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky thing.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments.
  5. Follow, follow, follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "Hi".
  6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the love . . . and the followers.
  7. If you want to show the link list, just follow the link below the entries and copy and paste it within your post!
  8. If you're new to the Follow Friday Hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
And now for the Follow Friday Question: Your house is burning down and you have time to select three books you own to take with you. What three books?

I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that the books that didn't get picked might not like me any longer if I do. And there's a lot more than three of them.

    1. @Azee M: With more than 9,000 books in my house, I'd have a hard time getting them all out in a single day, let alone in a house fire. I actually have no idea how I would prioritize which books to save first if it actually became an issue.

    2. I don't think anyone will even be thinking about books when their house is burning down on them. It's a fight or flight situation so no one in their right mind will be running back inside a burning house just to save a few flammable items. xD

    3. @Azee M: In the event of an actual fire, my first priority would be the redhead. Then maybe the Babylon 5 DVDs.

  2. Haha! Good answer! I've decided upon a fireproof safe for my sentimental reads.

    1. @Lisa Marie: I would need a really huge safe to fit all the books I love into it.

  5. It would be so hard to choose! If I could I'd definitely take my kindle. I'm a new GFC & Bloglovin follower.

    1. @Krystianna: I don't have a Kindle, or even a Nook. I'm pretty much a paper copy only person. Which, of course, makes this that much harder.

  6. @Teresa Noel: If my house is on fire I'm probably not thinking about my books much either. They can be replaced. I'd be making sure the redhead was fine. After that I might think about other stuff.

  7. Couldn't even attempt to pick just three, and probably wouldn't even try. Just too hard.
