Musical Artist - The Ozark Mountain Daredevils

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils are an American country rock band originally formed in 1972 by Buddy Brayfield, Steve Cash, Randle Chowning, John Dillon, Michael Granda, and Larry Lee. An earlier iteration of the band with many of the same members named "Family Tree" was formed in 1971, but the initial lineup was set and band name chosen in 1972. In the decades since the band was founded, members have come and gone, with nearly twenty other people taking their place on the roster at one point or another.

Over the years since 1972, the band recorded eight studio albums, four of which reached the top 100. They also released six live albums and two compilation albums. The band had some success on the singles charts, with their most successful release being their recording of Jackie Blue, which reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100. They also reached the Billboard top forty with the song If You Wanna Get to Heaven. Other than that, singles chart success remained elusive for the band, although they did continue to release singles until 1980 and album have continued to release albums through to the present day.

The band has a website named The Ozark Mountain Daredevils. They can also be found on Facebook.
