Comments: Gerald Warfield is a composer and science fiction writer. He has a B.A. from Texas Christian University, an M.Music from North Texas State University and an M.F.A. from Princeton University. He worked as an instructor at Princeton for a few years before leaving for New York and eventually taking the position of general manager of the Society of Composers. He has written several works of nonfiction, including several works about musical notation, and a couple about the stock market.
