2015 WSFA Small Press Award Nominees

Location: CapClave in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Comments: As far as the WSFA Small Press Award is concerned, 2015 was a great year for Twelfth Planet Press, which had four stories it published nominated. As the stories are all judged and voted upon anonymously, this is quite an achievement. The other notable thing about this collection of stories is how much better it is than the Hugo nominated collection of sort fiction works. While the Hugo nominated stories ranged from mediocre down to absolutely miserable, the stories on this ballot started at pretty good and went up in quality from there.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, Ursula Vernon won the award with her beautiful story Jackalope Wives, which had already won the Nebula Award and had been nominated for a World Fantasy Award.
