Follow Friday - The Ides of Fridays

It's Friday again, which means it's time for Follow Friday. To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host (Parajunkee) and any one else you want to follow on the list.
  2. Follow the Featured Blogger of the week - Cait at The Cait Files.
  3. Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky thing.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments.
  5. Follow, follow, follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "Hi".
  6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the love . . . and the followers.
  7. If you want to show the link list, just follow the link below the entries and copy and paste it within your post!
  8. If you're new to the Follow Friday Hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
And now for the Follow Friday Question: What is on your current playlist right now?

Right now, Led Zeppelin is getting some pretty heavy rotation, as is Pink Floyd. And as always, REM, which is the soundtrack to my life. Def Leppard and Judas Priest are on the back burner right now, but as soon as I am back into running shape, they'll be in regular rotation again. Yes, I know I am horribly conventional and boring in my musical tastes.

  3. I gave up all those artist when I stopped doing LSD -- LOL The Wall was like my high school manifesto. And...guess what? Before I got hitched my initials used to be REM so that was like my cred band back in the day.

  4. And oh gawd, Romona I really hope you are joking. But, you never know, I was at a bar once, wearing my vintage Atari shirt, and some chick walked up to me and was like, what's "A-tar-I"??

  8. @Romona: You can pretty much ignore Def Leppard and Judas Priest unless you were a teenager in the 1980s. But Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are must haves for a musical collection. Well, in my opnion, which you may not share, and . . .

  9. @Alison: I love Dark Side of the Moon. It's one of my favorite albums for running.

  10. @Parajunkee: Ha! I never did the drugs, I just listened to music that sounded like I did.

My initials also don't spell out any band name. Or abbreviation of any band name. Or really anything at all.

  11. @Mia: Then I'd say you should go listen to some Led Zeppelin, because they are just that good. I prefer Led Zeppelin II and III myself. Since I've been Loving You is something that must be experienced at least once by everyone.

  16. I read your play list and said this woman must be between my age (older than dirt) and the twenty somethings because I know all her groups! So I looked at your about page and I love how you stack your books in an ashlar profile.
ParaJunkee is funny--we collect antique typewriter ribbon tins and have the displayed in our house. One of our neighbors kids wanted to see the house so I was walking them thru and they saw the display - I explained what they were but the kid asked what's a type writer?
