Musical Artist - Stary Olsa

Named after a stream in Belarus, Stary Olsa is a Belrusian band that uses medieval instruments to recreate the music of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, as well as to perform clever covers of modern popular songs. The band was created in 1999, and currently has six members: Its founder Zmicier Sasnoŭski, plus Maryja Šaryj, Alieś Čumakoŭ, Illia Kublicki, Illia Kublicki, and Aliaksiej Vojciech. Former members include Kaciaryna Radzivilava, Kaciaryna Pinčuk, Aksana Kascian, and Andrej Apanovič. The band has recorded eleven albums thus far. Their twelfth album will feature medieval renditions of classic rock songs.
