Musical Artist - The Trans-Siberian Orchestra

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a band that exists primarily to record Christmas music featuring electric guitars. The band was originally formed in 1996 by Paul O'Neill, Jon Oliva, Al Pitrelli, and Robert Kinkel, although it has had many more members join and leave since then. They have recorded three rock-opera style Christmas albums titled Christmas Eve and Other Stories, The Christmas Attic, and The Lost Christmas Eve, as well as two non-Christmas oriented rock operas: Beethoven's Last Night, and Night Castle. They are known for their elaborate arena stage shows and for touring pretty much every year in the months before Christmas.

The band has a website named Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and a Facebook page.
