Musical Artist - The Virginia Sil'hooettes

The Virginia Sil'hooettes are an all women's a capella group comprised of and run by students at the University of Virginia. Originally conceived in 1988 by JoEllen Constine, Laura Fleury, Karen Sherman, and Melissa Schimke, and launched in 1989, the group has had considerable success over the years, having been named one of the Top 5 Collegiate A Cappella groups in the country by USA Today in 2012, and the #1 Female Collegiate A Cappella group in the country by HerCampus in 2013.
