Comments: 1975 was a good year for Ursula K. Le Guin, as she earned two Locus Award wins and two further nominations. It was also the year that the Locus Awards shook up their categories a bit, adding the Best Novelette category, and splitting the single author collections off on its own, to create three "collections of short fiction" categories: Best Single Author Collection, Best Original Anthology, and Best Reprint Anthology. And keeping with this theme, three of the series that gained nominations in the Original Anthology category - Orbit, New Dimensions, and Universe - also scored nominations in the Best Magazine category.
