Musical Artist - Hot Gossip

Hot Gossip was a musical group and dance troupe founded and choreographed by Arlene Phillips, and co managed by her, Michael Summerton, and Iaian Burton that was popular in the late 1970s in the United Kingdom. The group's enduring claim to fame is that it had the good fortune to back Sarah Brightman's first foray into the recording world with her disco single I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper.

The dance troupe first gained notice as a result of their appearances on the Kenny Everett Video Show, becoming known for their risque costumes and dance routines. After Sarah Brightman's song reached number six on the U.K. charts, the group recorded the album Geisha Boys and Temple Girls, which was a commercial flop. After the Kenny Everett Show was cancelled, the group headlined a one hour special titled The Very Host Gossip Show.
