Comments: Kurt Busiek is an American comic book writer best known for his series Astro City. Busiek also wrote the limited series Marvels and had a prominent run on The Avengers. In addition to these famous efforts, Busiek also wrote runs of numerous other series, including Power Man and Iron Fist, Red Tornado, JLA, Superman, and Conan. In his career, Busiek has won numerous awards, including six Harvey Awards and six Eisner Awards.
