Comments: K.D. Wentworth was an American science fiction writer and editor originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She earned her degree from the University of Tulsa and became an elementary school teacher, retiring in 2003. Wentworth wrote several novels and more than four dozen short stories.
Wentworth was secretary of the SFWA in 2000 and 2003, and was a judge and editor for the annual Writers of the Future contest from 2000 until her death in 2012.
