Ventrella and Me at CapClave 2016 |
Death: Still alive and writing about vampiric presidential candidates.
Comments: Michael A. Ventrella is an American lawyer and science fiction author. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and the New England School of Law and is currently a practicing attorney in Pennsylvania. Ventrella has published three novels, several works of short fiction, and edited a handful of anthologies.
Ventrella had an encounter with George R.R. Martin at CapClave in 2013 in which Ventrella correctly guessed the hidden meaning of the name of the character "Hodor" from Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series. At some conventions, Ventrella has teamed up with publisher and editor Ian Randall Strock, and fellow authors Keith R.A. DeCandido, and Hildy Silverman to act out a live version of the painfully awful story The Eye of Argon. If you find yourself in a position to attend such a performance, it is well-worth your time to attend.
Ventrella has a website named Michael A. Ventrella, and writes a blog named VentrellaQuest. He can also be found on Facebook and Twitter.
