Comments: Alyssa Wong is an American speculative fiction author best known for her Nebula- and Alfie-winning short story Hungry Daughters of Starving Mothers. Wong currently studies fiction at North Carolina State University, and has published fiction in such publications as Fantasy & Science Fiction, Strange Horizons, Nightmare Magazine, and Tor.com. Among the many honors she has received in yer young career, Wong was a finalist for the 2016 Campbell Award for Best New Writer, and her stories have garnered nominations for the Locus Award, the Shirley Jackson Award, the Nebula Award, and the World Fantasy Award.
