Death: Still alive and teaching physics.
Comments: Jay Werkheiser is an American teacher and science fiction author. He holds a B.S.in chemistry from Muhlenberg College and an M.Ed. from Desales University, also in chemistry. Currently Werkheiser teaches chemistry and physics at Warren County Tech School, a position he has held since 1994. In recent years, he has taken to writing science fiction, and has published a half dozen stories to date.
Werkheiser can be found on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. He also writes an apparently much-neglected blog titled Resonance.
