Author - Chiang, Ted

Birth: 1967.

Death: Still alive and winning awards.

Comments: Ted Chiang is an American science fiction writer who may have the most concentrated amount of success in history. Despite publishing just over a dozen stories over his career, Chiang has won four Nebula awards, three Hugo awards, three Locus awards, as well as several others including the Sturgeon award and the Seiun award. Chiang holds a degree from Brown University, and is a graduate of the Clarion Writers Workshop. Apparently Chiang spends most of his time working as a technical writer in the software industry, although I'm sure that many science fiction fans wish he would spend more time writing stories.
