Death: 2001.
Comments: Don Berry was most famous for Trask, Moontrap, and To Build a Ship - historical fiction novels focused on settlers in nineteenth century Oregon - but he also dabbled in science fiction for much of his career.
Berry was one of the first authors to seriously use the internet as a means of getting his work before the public, and created a substantial body of work that only exists in cyberspace and which can still be found at his website named Don Berry.
