Comments: Caleb Carr is an author mostly known for his writing about military history who has also served as the editor for MHQ: The Quarterly Journal of Military History. Carr attended Kenyon College and New York University and holds a B.A. in diplomatic and military history. He has written several novels, all in the historical fiction genre, of which the most notable is The Alienist, a crime novel set in 1896 New York.
