Comments: Douglas E. Richards is an American science fiction author who writes books mainly aimed at younger audiences. His writing appears to be a deliberate attempt to evoke the tone of Heinlein's juveniles and Asimov's Lucky Starr series, with adventure and action surrounding some fairly basic and well-explained scientific concepts. Richards holds a B.A. from Ohio State University, an M.S. in microbiology from the University of Wisconsin, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
Richards has a website and a Facebook fan page dedicated to his work.
