Comments: Michael Shaara was a science fiction writer who taught literature at Florida State University. I know that he graduated from Rutgers University, but I don't know what he studied or what degree he earned. Shaara is most known for his historical fiction work The Killer Angels for which he won a Pulitzer Prize.
Michael Shaara's son, Jeff Shaara has continued his work, publishing several other historical fiction novels set in the U.S. Civil War. Jeff currently maintains a website with information about his books and his father's books.
My reviews of Michael Shaara's books:
The Killer Angels
Other books by Michael Shaara that I have read but not reviewed:
None
