Comments: Mary E. Lowd is an American science fiction and furry author best known for her webcomic Space Hounds! and her Otters in Space series of stories. Lowd has published dozens of stories in the furry genre, and has won the Ursa Major Award. In addition to her large volume of furry oriented fiction, Lowd has written a number of mainstream science fiction stories, and has been published in venues such as Analog Science Fiction and Fact and Daily Science Fiction.

In addition to her webcomic, Lowd has a web site named Mary E. Lowd, and she can also be found on Facebook and Twitter.
