Leckie and Me at MidAmericon II |
Death: She is alive and to my knowledge is not an ancillary.
Comments: Ann Leckie is an American science fiction and fantasy author who made a huge splash with her debut novel Ancillary Justice, which was honored with the Clarke, Locus, Nebula, and Hugo Awards. She has followed up on Ancillary Justice with the Locus winning Ancillary Sword, and the third book in the series Ancillary Mercy. She has published numerous works of short fiction, including two that she co-wrote with Rachel Swirsky. Prior to her writing career, Leckie had a varied and interesting work history that included stints as a waitress, a receptionist, and a rodman for a surveying team.
Leckie has an official website named Ann Leckie, and can also be found on Twitter.
