Comments: Paul Booth is an American professor of media studies and a commentator on fans of cult television programs such as Doctor Who. Booth earned his Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and currently teaches at DePaul University. In addition to publishing several articles on topics related to media and fandoms, Booth has authored the books Digital Fandom: New Media Studies and Time on TV: Temporal Displacement and Mashup Television and edited the book Fan Phenomena: Doctor Who.
