Comments: Holly Black is an American fantasy author well known for books such as The Coldest Girl in Cold Town, Doll Bones, and the Magisterium series (written with Cassandra Clare). Black holds a B.A. in English from the College of New Jersey. She has published numerous books, including the Spiderwick Chronicles series and the Modern Tale of Faerie series. Black has won the Andre Norton Award and the Mythopoeic Award, and has been nominated for the Locus Award and the Newbery Medal.

Black has a website named Holly Black, and writes a blog titled BlackHolly (although the blog appears to be updated only on a very intermittent basis). She can also be found on Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr.
