Author - Foster, Tara

I couldn't find a picture of
Tara Foster, so instead here's a
picture of Clémence Poésy
Birth: I don't know when, but she says that she is descended from Eleanor of Aquitaine, so she's a little bit French and a little bit of English royalty.

Death: Still alive and teaching French.

Comments: Tara Foster is an American author and professor of French at Northern Michigan University. She holds a B.A. from Rice University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Rutgers University. Foster's primary area of study appears to be Medieval French literature, specifically the tales of the lives of the saints with a secondary focus on Arthurian literature as it relates to the literature of the saints.

Like so many of the other contributors to Hermione Granger Saves the World, Foster is fairly elusive, with a limited footprint on the internet and apparently no pictures, not even on the Northern Michigan University faculty page.

My reviews of Tara Foster's books:
None

Other books by Tara Foster that I have read but not reviewed:
None

Essays by Tara Foster appearing in works that I have reviewed:
"Book! And Cleverness!": Hermione's Wits found in Hermione Granger Saves the World: Essays on the Feminist Heroine of Hogwarts
