Author - Franck, Ty

Birth: May 18, 1969.

Death: Still alive and plotting the Expanse like a role-playing game.

Comments: Ty Franck is an American science fiction author best known as one-half of the writing team that goes by the pseudonym James S.A. Corey. Franck has also worked as author George R.R, Martin's personal assistant.

The original idea for the Expanse series Franck co-writes with Daniel Abraham under the name of Corey was conceived by Franck as a setting for a tabletop role-playing game. Unlike Abraham, who has produced a number of works on his own, Franck does not appear to have written any published works as a solo author.
