Comments: Dava Sobel is a science writer from New York. She holds a degree from Binhampton University and has taught at the University of Chicago. She spent most of her career as a New York Times science reporter and has been published in The New Yorker, Harvard Magazine, Discover, and Life. She has also appeared as a guest commentator on The Today Show and All Things Considered. Her most famous book is Longitude, which was made into an A&E miniseries starring Michael Gambon and Jeremy Irons. She has a personal website named Dava Sobel.
