Comments: Pamela Sargent is a prominent science fiction author who has written more than a dozen novels and a half dozen collections of short fiction. She has also edited several anthologies, including the Women of Wonder series featuring female science fiction authors, and has written a nonfiction book about female science fiction heroines. She has also written several Star Trek novels.
Sargent earned a B.A. and M.A. from State University of New York. She has won a Nebula Award as well as a Locus Award, and has been nominated for several other awards including the Hugo and Sturgeon awards. Sargent writes a blog titled Pamela Sargent: Writer of Science and Historical Fiction.
