Comments: Michael F. Flynn is a prominent libertarian science fiction author. Flynn has also written under the pen name Rowland Shew. He has won the Prometheus Award twice, first for his novel In the Country of the Blind, and again as a shared award for Fallen Angels which he co-wrote with Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle. Flynn has also won the Locus Award once, the Sturgeon Award once, and has been nominated for the Hugo Award multiple times.
Flynn holds a B.A. in Mathematics from LaSalle University and an M.S. in topology from Marquette University. Before becoming a full-time author, Flynn worked as a statistician and quality engineer. Flynn writes a blog titled Mike Flynn's Journal.
