Death: Still alive and theoretically being a theoretical physicist.
Comments: Carl Frederick is a theoretical physicist and science fiction author. Or as Frederick says, he is theoretically a theoretical physicist. He's written several pieces of short fiction which have been published in numerous genre magazines. He is one of the success stories of the Writers of the Future contest, having won first prize in that competition and then gone on to a successful career as a short story writer. Formerly employed by Cornell and NASA, Frederick currently works for an unnamed "high tech company" in Ithaca, New York. He maintains a personal website called Frithrik's Home.
