Death: Still alive and writing the Expanse.
Comments: Daniel Abraham is an American author who is probably now best known as one-half of the writing team that uses the pseudonym James S.A. Corey. Abraham has written several books and stories on his own, including the Long Price Quartet and the Dagger and Coin series, as well as a number of works of short fiction. In addition to the accolades he and Ty Franck share as co-authors of the Expanse series, Abraham's work has earned him nominations for the Nebula Award, the Hugo Award, and the World Fantasy Award.
In addition to writing his own work, Abraham has adapted some of George R.R. Martin's work into graphic novels. He has also written stories in Martin's long-running shared world Wild Cards series. Abraham has also written under the pseudonym M.L.N. Hanover.
Abraham writes a blog with Ty Franck named Lizard Brain.
