Author - Corey, James S.A.

Birth: Can a fictitious name for a collaborative effort have a birthday? Maybe when they started writing together in 2011?

Death: Both of the authors are still very much alive.

Comments: James S.A. Corey is a pseudonym used by authors Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck originally conceived as the name to be credited for their jointly written Expanse series of books. The name is made up of their respective middle names plus Abraham's daughter's initials. In addition to the six books of the Expanse series, the pair have also collaborated under this name on a Star Wars novel and a couple of works of short fiction.

There is a website to promote their works named James S.A. Corey, and they also have a website specific to the Expanse series named, appropriately enough, The Expanse. They can also be found on Twitter.
