Comments: Pat Cadigan is an American science fiction author best known for her Clarke Award-winning novels Synners and Fools, and her Hugo Award-winning story The Girl-Thing Who Went Out for Sushi. Cadigan holds degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the University of Kansas. She has published several novels and a number of short stories, as well as serving as the editor for the magazines Chacal and Shayol. Over the course of her career, Cadigan has been nominated for numerous awards, including the Clarke Award, the Hugo Award, the Locus Award, the World Fantasy Award, and the Nebula Award. She has won two Clarke Awards, one Hugo Award, three Locus Awards, and a World Fantasy Award.
