Death: Still alive, but apparently not writing much fiction.

Comments: Ef Deal is an American science fiction and fantasy writer and pet food purveyor. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and lived in Tours, France for a while. She worked as a high school English teacher for two decades and left that to run a small business making treats for cats and dogs via a business named Nummy Yums. According to the ISFDB, she has only one professional publication, the story Czesko, which appeared in the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction in 2006. She does not appear to be writing much, if at all, any more.
