Comments: Max Gladstone is an American fantasy author best known for the Craft Sequence fantasy series. He is a graduate of Yale University, and published his first novel Three Parts Dead in 2012 following working as a teacher in China and as a translator for a car magazine. Since 2012, Gladstone has published four more novels in the Craft Sequence, as well as two fantasy serials titled Bookburners and The Witch Who Came in from the Cold. He has also published several works of short fiction. In 2013 and 2014, Gladstone was nominated for the Campbell Award for Best New Writer. His work has also been nominated for a Mythopoeic Award.
