Comments: Jim Aikin is an American science fiction writer. He is also a music and music technology writer, an interactive fiction writer, and a musician. Aikin has written three novels, four nonfiction books, a half dozen interactive fiction works, and a variety of pieces of short fiction and articles.
As a musician, Aikin focuses on the cello, and has performed with several community orchestras and local jazz groups. He also teaches cello. Aikin has released one CD titled Light's Broken Speech Revived. He has a website named MusicWords, and writes the blog Jim Aikin's Oblong Blob.
