Comments: Bruce Boston is a speculative fiction writer and poet. He has published a couple novels, several collections, several dozen short stories, several essays, and a couple hundred poems. Boston holds a B.A. and M.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Boston has been honored several times for his poetry: he has won seven Rhysling awards, a Pushcart award, four Stoker awards, and he received the first Grandmaster award bestowed by the Science Fiction Poetry Association. In 2006, a poem he cowrote with Robert Frazier was named the best speculative fiction poem of all time by a Locus Magazine reader's poll.
