Death: Not yet.
Comments: Damien Broderick is an Australian writer and editor with numerous published science and science fiction works on his resume. He holds a Ph.D. in literary studies and his dissertation was a comparison of the semiotics of science, literary, and science fiction writing, with a special emphasis on one of my favorite science fiction authors Samuel R. Delany. He taught for several years at the University of Melbourne, but now lives in San Antonio, Texas.
He has written several science fiction novels and works of short fiction, as well as many more works of nonfiction - both science works and literary criticism. Broderick has also written numerous essays and book reviews, and was the editor of the magazine Cosmos: The Science of Everything from 2005 to 2010.
