Author - Crump, Marty

Birth: I don't know when, but it was in Madison, Wisconsin.

Death: Still alive and studying frogs.

Comments: Marty Crump is a behavioral ecologist whose research has primarily involved studying tadpoles and other tropical amphibians. Crump is one of the world's leading experts on tree frogs, and has written a book about the precipitous decline of the amphibian populations around the world titled In Search of the Golden Frog.

She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, taught for a time at the University of Florida, and is currently an adjunct professor at Northern Arizona University.
