Comments: Peter Darrach is the self-published author of the Second Skin science fiction series. He currently lives in Austria, but has previously lived in various places in Western Europe and the United States. After a career in marketing and sales, he turned his hand to writing, putting out two books thus far: Second Skin and Second Skin, Too. He says he holds a B.A. and an M.A. in literature, but I can't find where he matriculated from (although to be clear, I have no reason to doubt his veracity concerning his education). He admires Patrick O'Brien's Aubrey/Maturin series, but says that he avoids reading while writing so as to avoid being overly influenced by other authors.

Darrach maintains the self-named website Peter Darrach to promote his books.
