Death: Still alive and teaching.
Comments: Sandra Lindow is a speculative fiction poet from Wisconsin. Her poetry has been nominated for the Rhysling Award numerous times, but has never actually won the award, making her kind of the Susan Lucci of speculative fiction poetry. Prior to becoming a full time poet, Lindow taught reading to emotionally disturbed teens at the Eau Claire Academy, and since her retirement has taught part time at the University of Wisconsin.
Lindow is a member of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets, and serves as the organization's West Central Regional Vice-President. She has published six collections of poetry, and is working on a book analyzing the works of Ursula K. Le Guin.
