Comments: Naomi Novik is an author famous for her Patrick O'Brien-inspired alternate history Tremeraire series which adds dragons to the Napoleonic Wars. Novik holds a B.A. from Brown University in English Literature, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University. Before she turned to novel writing, Novik was a computer game designer and helped develop Neverwinter Nights. She has come out as a proponent of the value of fanfiction.
Novik has a website titled Tremeraire, as well as a livejournal page. She is also on twitter and LibraryThing.
