Comments: Jane Rogers is a British author best known for the novel Mr. Wroe's Virgins. Even though she is a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, she recently dabbled in science fiction, writing the near future dystopian book The Testament of Jesse Lamb, for which she was awarded the Arthur C. Clarke Award and was long listed for the Man Booker Prize. She is a professor of writing for Sheffield Hallam University, and has written a total of seven novels. Rogers has an official webpage and a Facebook fan page.
