Death: Still alive and writing about Tolkien.

Comments: David Day is a Canadian author best known for his literary criticism of and commentary upon the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Day graduated from the University of Victoria and has published six books of poetry as well as ten volumes of children's literature. Day has also written several volumes on natural history, including The Doomsday Book of Animals, The Whale Wars, and The Encyclopedia of Vanished Species. In addition to his extensive body of work related to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, Day has also written about the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs and Lewis Carroll, as well as the mythology related to King Arthur.
