Comments: Sheila Gilbert is an American editor and author. Gilbert has been an editor for DAW Books for more than two decades, and is currently one of the two publishers who control the company. She has published one work of short fiction titled The General's Bane, and in addition to her many other editorial work, she edited two thirty-year anniversary collections of DAW fiction: One for science fiction works, and one for fantasy fiction. In 2016, Gilbert won the Hugo Award for Best Long Form Editor.
