Comments: Hao Jingfang is a Chinese science fiction author best known in the United States for her Hugo-winning novelette Folding Beijing. She holds a degree in physics from Tsinghua University and a Ph.D. in economics and management from the same institution. She has published two novels - Wandering Maearth and Return to Charon - as well as a large amount of short fiction in publications such as Mengya, Science Fiction World, and ZUIFound. In addition to her fiction writing, Hao works as a macroeconomics researcher at the China Development Research Foundation.
